Investigational Lys–Pro–Val Tripeptide

Overview

KPV is a synthetic tripeptide consisting of lysine, proline, and valine and is studied as a peptide sequence derived from the C-terminal region of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH).

Current research examines melanocortin-related signaling, inflammatory-response pathways, epithelial and gastrointestinal tissue mechanisms, and associated cellular signaling processes.
